The introduction of the BPaLM treatment regimen for MDR-TB marks a pivotal shift in TB care under the National TB Elimination Programme (NTEP). Guided by the latest WHO recommendations and national expert group insights, this workshop will equip healthcare providers with evidence-based knowledge on the BPaLM regimen.

This course is has been developed for the District TB Officers. The Training content consists of 14 modules which will be discussed during the different sessions during the trainings.

This Curriculum has been designed for Community Health Volunteers (CHVs) and Treatment supporters to enhance their knowledge about NTEP, and their role in fighting against TB. This course will also help Community Health Volunteers to understand their role in awareness generation, community engagement and counselling of TB patients that exists under the umbrella of NTEP. This information will help CHVs and Treatment supporters to improve adherence to TB treatment by the patients and overall improvement in treatment outcome.
