This Curriculum has been designed for Community Health Volunteers (CHVs) and Treatment supporters to enhance their knowledge about NTEP, and their role in fighting against TB. This course will also help Community Health Volunteers to understand their role in awareness generation, community engagement and counselling of TB patients that exists under the umbrella of NTEP. This information will help CHVs and Treatment supporters to improve adherence to TB treatment by the patients and overall improvement in treatment outcome. 

This course has been designed to explain the guidelines for PMDT in India 2021 for DR-TB Committee members of Nodal and district DRTB Centres, Medical College faculties, C&DST Microbiologists and Private Physicians. There would be live presentations on Zoom platform.. At the begining of the course, each trainee has to appear for a Pre-Test evaluation . Trainees also have to appear for the day-end quiz and score minimum of 3 credit points (out of 6 credit point) from two quizzes.
